I Know

This weekend was great one. It was the first weekend in several weeks Jake I did not have to be anywhere. Even better it was General Conference weekend. There were four absolutely beautiful sessions of Lords servants giving talks and teaching us the things the He wants the world to hear. Guess what my weekend got even better.
My good friend Angela and her Husband were baptized, and became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Sunday night. It has been so long, way to long, sense I attended a baptism. Seeing each them be baptized brought back the memories I have from my own baptism. I remember the beautiful white dress my mother made for me, and thinking soon I was going to just like my dress, pure and white and free from stains. I remembered walking down the steps into the font to my father, and being so happy because I could see how happy my dad was for me and for the choice I was making. I remember being proud of myself for being an example to all the little kids kneeling to watch me go under the water. I remember, even at he age of eight, that I was making a wise and the right choice. It was so wonderful to remember those things.
My heart is so full of joy for Angela and Manuel that they each gained a testimony of the Gospel. I am so happy that they made the wise and right choice to join the Lords church. I am so grateful to Angela and Manuel that they invited me to witness the sacred covenant they made with the Savior. Along with conference it inspired me to be a better member of the church. Being there strengthened my testimony. And sense I am on the topic this is my testimony....

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords church. I know Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ and was a prophet on this earth. I know, and I sustain Thomas S. Monson as a Prophet of God. I know my Savior, my Redeemer, even my dearest friend, died for me, and for every person that they might return to live with Him and our dearest Father in Heaven for all time and eternity. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and it is the word of God. In the name of The Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
